Zenyetta
Zenyatta, playing on post parade as usual,
before winning as usual. She won the
2009 Breeders’ Cup Classic against the boys
to keep her record perfect.

Zenyetta
Zenyatta is seen winning the
Clement L. Hirsch S. at Del Mar in August, 2009.
With that win she was 14 for 14.

Zenyatta (Street Cry(Ire)- Vertigineux,
by Kris S.), a six-year-old mare, set a
new record in 2010 when she won her 17th consecutive unrestricted race.
She surpassed Cigar, Citation and Mister Frisky.
Not only has Zenyatta set a record, but
15 of the 17 have been graded races,
11 of which are G1’s, including the
2009 Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Zenyatta, a $60,000 yearling, was bred by
Maverick Productions and is owned by
Jerry and Ann Moss. She is trained by
John Sheriffs and has been ridden by
Mike Smith in the majority of her races.

Zenyetta
Zenyatta won the Clement L. Hirsch S. at Del Mar,
in the first photo finish of her career.
A slow pace left her with a lot of ground to
make up in the final furlong, where her
extraordinary talent shone through.
